Care Home, Bristol – New Installations

Working directly for our client, we undertook the full replacement of an existing Hydraulic lift with a new machine room less traction passenger lift.

The property is a privately owned residential care home in Bristol. Elserv successfully delivered the replacement of the only passenger lift within this live building, carefully coordinating the works to ensure that this challenging project was delivered with the minimum of upheaval to the staff and residents.

We provided a 630kg 8-person capacity passenger lift, maximising the constraints of the existing lift shaft by providing wider entrances to improve the lift provision for operations of the home. Additional benefits were also provided as the new lift equipment offered faster travel speed between floors and superior energy efficiency.

The project was completed in late 2022 to our client’s satisfaction and we continue to maintain this new lift installation along with multiple other units within our clients’ properties.
